About The Layout

This layout has an extremely autumn, naturey theme about it. All of the shapes are simple Photoshop Shapes and fancy brushes. I ventured away from Paint Shop Pro to make this design. I'm not very comfortable in PS compared to PSP, but the leaf effect from the scatter function of the brush was a lot of fun!

Ironically, the snow today has gotten so thick and heavy that my neighbours have built a snowman already! I fear that I've missed the autumn layout-making season for this year, but I love winter!

The titles of the content area are made by this code:

The titles for the section dividers on the menu are made using this code:

This layout has a strange quirk: the background image does not tile properly in Mozilla Firefox when the main area content is shorter than the menu content. This can be easily avoided by ensuring that your pages have enough content to increase the height.
